Lockdown Photography Challenge

On the 21st March, the day before Mothering Sunday, the UK went into full lockdown. The children were sent home from school, non-essential shops and services closed, and where possible, people worked from home.

Like many parents, all of a sudden I was at home managing, entertaining and home-schooling the kids, cooking meals, constant tidying and cleaning up after everyone.

In an effort to keep the creative juices flowing during this period of isolation, I challenged myself to post a photo every day of our daily family life during lockdown – the chaos, the grumbles, the love, the frustrations. An honest portrait of what life looked like for us, just one small family figuring out how to do lockdown.
