Just putting the finishing touches to the roller derby match I photographed a while back (many thanks to my friend "Leigh've Ya Behind" - she has the best skater name ever). Two hours of following the match and I think I now know how the rules work!
Sports hall lighting, no flash and very fast skaters meant I had to work hard at "follow-and-shoot" with the camera - it's a challenge to keep these speedy gals in focus! Great sport, loads of fun and a fantastic team spirit that shines through - thank you for having me Roller Derby Leicester x
