I was hugely privileged last week to photograph my wonderful friends Jo, Jack and George - though their cat Fergie wasn't keen and made himself scarce!
Jo's replies to my family questionnaire suggested that they love to build Lego - especially Star Wars if George or Jack have a say in it, watch telly together and enjoy lots of family cuddles, so we used Lego and computer games as a way of starting off the session and getting everyone used to having a camera snapping away in the background.
It was a very relaxed hour or so, and I let George and his family dictate the session. I mostly stayed in the background, observing their family life and taking photos. Jo wanted to document the happiness, care-free nature and huge affection her family has for each other, and I hope I've managed to capture some of that.
